【Abstract】Thecomorbidityof diabetesanddepression isrelativelycommon inclinicalpractice，withasignificant bidirectionalassociationbetweenthetwoconditions.Thiscomorbidstatenotonlyincreasesthediseaseburdenandtreatment complexitybutalsoseverelyimpactspatients'qualityoflifeandlong-termprognosis.Thesharedpathophysiologicalmechanisms of diabetesanddepresionmayinvolveneuroendocrinedysregulation，chronicinflammation，andunhealthylifestylfactors. Currently，clinical management facesseveralmajorchallenges： insuffcient awarenessandrecognitionofthecomorbidityamong healthcareprovidersoftenleadstounderdiagnosisormisdiagnosisofdepresson;lackofefectiveinterdisciplinarycollaation hamperstheimplementationof integratedcare;andtheabsenceofspecificdiagnosticandtreatmentguidelinesbothdomestically andinternatioallresultsinalackofstandardizedclincalpractice.Toaddresstheseissues，thePsychosomaticEndocrinology CollaborationGroupofthePychosomaticMedicineSocietyoftheChiese MedicalAssociation，incolaborationwithexpertsfrom endocrinologyandmetabolism，psychiatry，neurology，sychology，psychosomaticmedicine，andtraditionalChinesemdicine，has developedthe first Chinese Expert Consensus onthe Diagnosis and TreatmentofDiabetes Comorbid with Depresion.This consensussystematicallyelaboratesontheclincalfeatures，pathophsiologicalmehaisms，esmenttols，andinteetion strategie forthecomorbidityunderscores theimportanceofmultidisciplinarycolaboration，proposes astandardizedscreening anddiagnosticpathwayandprovidesspcificrecommendationsforcolaborativecae.Thereleaseoftisonsensusais tooffer scientificadpracticalcliicalgancemprovetecogitionandanagementofthisomobidityandultimatelyance overall patient care and long-term outcomes.
