【Abstract】BackgroundAfter years of practice，the service of general practitioners （GP） hasachieved certain results inthehealthmanagementofkeygoupssuchastheelderlypregnantwomen，children，ndpatientswithchronicdisease. However，theservicesof "functionalcommunity"groupsrepresentedbyyoungandmiddle-agedworkingpeoplestllnedsto beimproved.ObjectiveBasedontheroletheory，thisstudyconductsaqualitativeresearchontheroleexpectationsof GPin functionalcommunitiesfrom the perspectives ofGPandresidents.Theaim is toenhancetherole imageandfunctionof GPand better meetthe service demand.MethodsFrom September to November 2O23，asemi-structured interview was conducted among8GPsand16residentsof4communityhealthservicecentersinJiadingDistrict，Shanghai，withthemethodofsowball samplingcombined，andadirectionalcontentanalysiswasconductedontheinterviewresults.ResultsTakingthefouriportant contentsof "qualityexpectation，imageexpectation，obligationexpectationandbehaviorexpectation"intheroleexpectation theoryastheteme，itextracts the14subthemesoflnicalabilityworkqualityulture，sienceandeucation，medicalthis， communicationeficiency，workspirit，emotional expectation，treatmentservice，consultationservice，consultationcoordiation， costcontroloblgation，serviceectivenssseiceaccibilityndservicestaddizatn.Itifoundthatothpashvete sameexpectationonmedicalethics，gdcommunication，lifesaving，efectiveserviceandstandardservice，buthaveierent expectationsoncostcontrolobligations，andotherexpectationsarediferent.ConclusionTheexpectationofconsistencybetween the supplyanddemandsidesstemsfromthetraditionalidealimageof general practitioners，andtheexpectationof diference between thesupplyand demandsides stemsfromthe misperceptionoftheroleand functionoffamilydoctorsonboth sides.The strategytosolvethecontradictionbetweenthemisperceptionoffamilydoctors infunctionalcommunitiesandtheactualserviceof family doctors in reality is proposed.
