ABSTRACTOBJECTIVEToreportacaseofvisualabnormalitiesinducedbyoxaliplatin，andprovideareferenceforclinical medication safety.METHODSClinical pharmacistsconductedthepharmaceuticalcareforacoloncancerpatientwhodeveloped visualabormalitiesuringtreatmentithoxaliplatin.Afterthepatientexperencedtwoepisodesofvisualabnomalitiesinthefirst chemotherapycycle，thepharmacistsrecommendedsuspendingoxaliplatinandreducingitsdoseinthenextcycle.Wenvisual symptomspersistedinthesecondcycle，theyrecommendedpermanent discontinuationofoxaliplatin.Concurently，theyprovided medicationeducationtothepatientandfamilyUsingNaranjo’sAdverseDrugReactionProbabiltyScale，thepharmacistsssesed thecorelationbetweenoxaliplatinandthevisualabnomalitisandanalyedthecharacteristisofthisadversereactionREU& CONCLUSIONSThephysicianadoptedtheclinicalpharmacists’recommendations.Afterdiscontinuationofthedrug，thepatient's visiongraduallyreturnedtonormal.Thecorrelationbetweenoxaliplatinandvisualabnormalitieswasasessedas“probable". Oxaliplatin-ducedvisualabnormalitiesarerelativelyareandoftenocurwithinthefisttreecylesof treatment.Mostpatients recovertheirvisionwithintwoweeksafterdiscontinuation，whileasmallnumbermayprogress topermanentvisualimpament. Clinical pharmacistensuredthepatient's medicationsafetybyevaluating thecorelationbetweenoxaliplatinandvisual abnormaities，adjustingmedicationregimens，providingpharmaceuticalcareandmedicationeducation，andprovidingother pharmaceutical services.
