十九世纪末加拿大农业结构变化的历史考察

摘要：通过对相关史料的分析可以看出，加拿大农业在十九世纪后期形成了一种与历史传统完全不同的模式，即从出口小麦的单一农业转变为出口肉类与乳制品的混合农业。这种模式的转变比过去学界研究的结论要早，影响这种转变的主要因素既包括出口需求，也包括国内市场需求。农业模式转变影响了十九世纪末加拿大的国家建设。

A Historical Investigation of Structural Changes

in Canadian Agriculture in the Late 19th Century

Abstract： Through examining the relevant historical data about structural changes in Canadian agriculture in the late nineteenth century， this paper finds that Canadian agriculture developed a pattern quite different from the historical tradition at that time， namely， a shift from a monoculture of wheat exports to a mixed agriculture of meat and dairy products. This paradigm shift occurred earlier than that in the previous studies， and was influenced by both export demand and domestic market demand. At the same， this shift influenced nation-building in Canada in the late 19th century.
