Al-Driven Paradigm Elevation in the Humanities and Social Sciences： From Tool Dependency to Knowledge Symbiosis

AbstractAgainstthemacro-backgroundof theacceleratingconvergenceofthe "FourthParadigm"（data-intensive science）andthe"Fiftharadigm"（A-drivenscience），thedata-intellgencescientificparadigm，withthein-depthsyer gyofdataandintellgenceatitscore，isgraduallybecominganimportant trendandkeyfeatureintheevolutionofcontemporaryscientificresearchparadigms.Artificial Intelligence （AI）has transcendeditsroleasamereuxiliarytoolforenhancingresearcheficiencyandisincreasinglybecominganindispensableparticipantandcollaboratorintheknowledgeproduction process.This paper begins byanalyzing thecurrentstageofAI'sinstrumental application intheSocial Sciences andHumanities （SSH），outliningitsphasedcharacteristics，typical scenarios，andinherentlimitations.Itthenelaborates onthe conceptofAI-powered knowledgesymbiosisanditscorecomponents，emphasizingthathuman-machinecollaborativemodelofnowledgeproductioniscriticalforovercomingthebotteneckoftooldependencyandinvigoratinginnovation within SSH.Further，thepaper articulates threefoundational pathways forconstructinganAIknowledge symbiosis ecosystem： buildingasoliddata foundationcenteredonsemanticrestructuring;leveraging powerful algorithmic engines characterized byopen evolutionand fostering human-machineco-creation through mechanisms of agent-based colaboration.Buildingonthis framework，thepaperexplores howAI-powered knowledgesymbiosiscanempower theconstructionofanautonomous andlocally-grounded knowledgesystem，particularly highlighting its potential todismantle the monopoly of external discourses andenhance the narrativecapacityofdomesticscholarshipon theintermational stage.
