Current Situation of Garlic Fertilization and Soil Quality Evaluation in Yimeng Mountain Area

Abstract：Thisstudyaimstolarifythecurrntfertilizationpractisandtheutrentstatusofsoilinthemaingarlic-producingaras oftheYimengmountainregion，withtegoalofprovidingreferenceiformationforsientificfertilizationandoilutrientgment ingarlicprodutionasoughfldsueys，tetysoffertilisd，fertilationmouts，ertliatiometdsdurt contentintheO-2Ocmsoillayerofgarlicfeldsinthisregionwereexamined.Theresultsshowedthathemaingarlic-producingareas ftheYimengmountainregiongenerallyexhibitatendencyofaplyingheavybasefertilizersbutlighttopdressg，withanecssiveproportionofpotassiufertlirappiedasbasefertlizer.Tehemicalfertilizersusedreprmarilyalancedomponfer tilizers（wiNOKtisof15：：5，6：6）ndlicaiprooiosfoodrildots only 1 8 . 0 0 % and 7 . 7 0 % ，respectively.Organic fertilizers mainly consisted of manure（mainly pig，catle，and chicken manure） and commercialoganicfertlizers.Theutrentinputratiosofrogn，phosphous，andotassminarlicflsereimbalaced，with the apparent surplus amounts of nutrients being ，and ，respectively，with anexcessiveamountofphosphous.ThepHvalueoftheO-2Ocmsoillayeringarlicfieldswasataneutrallevelof3，whiletheaveragecontentof soilorganicmaterandtotalnitrogenwasatamediumlevelof4.Theaveragecontentofalkali-hydrolyzablenitrogenand availablepotassumwasatarelativelyrichlevelof3，andtheaverageontentofavailablephosphoruswasataveryrichlevelof1. Thenutrientdistributioninthemaingarlic-producingareasofYimengmountainisunevenwithsomegarlicfeldsshowingsigsof soilacidificationostoftesoilsavelowganicateontent，iletrogenospousndotassarebundan.Foa lic production，itisimportant tocoordinate theratiosofnitrogen，phosphorus，andpotassiumand thebase - t o - topdressingratioof chemicalfertilizesAppropateamontsofcrourientsdoanicfertilizesouldbeded，withutrentiputsflgte principles of controlling nitrogen，reducing phosphorus，and limiting potassium.
