Effects of different pollination varieties （lines） on the main characteristics of the fruit of Pingou hybrid hazelnut Dawei

Abstract： Hazelnuts are monoecious plants with different flowers.In production，multiple varieties with similar flowering periods are often selected for mixed planting to improve fruit seting rate.This experimentusedPingou hybrid hazelnuts Yuzhui，LiaozhenNO.3，Liaozhen NO.4 and84-545as pollination varieties （line）to study the effects ofdifferent varieties （line） on the main characteristics of Dawei fruit.The results showed that different polination varieties （line） had a significantimpacton the fruiting traits，fruit bud quality，fresh fruit quality，nuttransverse diameter， longitudinal diameter，lateral diameter，average fruit diameter，shell thickness，and kernel yieldof

Dawei fruit，but hadno significant effect on the length of fruit buds and nut kernel weight;Among them，Dawei，whichuses 84-545as the pollination line，has the highestaverage numberoffruits per sequence and the best comprehensive fruit traits.Based on comprehensive analysis，84-545 is chosen as the main polination line for Dawei，while Liaozhen NO.3，Liaozhen NO.4 and Yuzhui areselected as supplementarypollination species.
