【Abstract] Basedonthe dynamic characteristicsof the four-dimensional memristive Sprot-R chaotic system,the study analyzethe phasediagrams,Lyapunovexponent spectra,andbifurcationdiagramsofthesystem,revealing itsrichdyamic behaviors,whichindicateitspotentialapplicationvalueinthefieldofimage encryption.Wedesignanencryptionalgorithm byusing thechaoticsequences generatedbythissystem,integratingadition modulodifusion,finitefielddiffusion,and non-repeating permutation,thereby enhancing the securityof images during transmision.To evaluate the efectivenessof this encryptionscheme,MATLAB is used to plot the pixel value frequencydistribution histogramandtheadjacent pixel map,andthekeyspace,information entropy,andcorrelationofadjacent pixelswereanalyzed.Theresultsindicatethatthis encryptionscheme notonly possesses alargekey space but also excels inencryption efectivenessandresistance toexteal attacks.
