Abstract  Objective：To translate the Change Fatigue Scale（CFS） into Chinese，and to test its reliability and validity.Methods：The Chinese version of CFS was formed through translation，back translation，cultural adaptation and pre⁃investigation.A total of 600 clinical nurses working in a tertiary grade A hospital in Wuhan city were selected by convenience sampling method to test the reliability and validity.Results：There were 6 items in Chinese version of CFS.The item⁃level content validity index（I⁃CVI） ranged from 0.800 to 1.000.The universal agreement of scale‐level content validity index （S⁃CVI/UA） was 0.833，and the average scale‐level content validity index（S⁃CVI/Ave） was 0.967. Exploratory factor analysis extracted one common factors，and the cumulative contribution rate of variance was 72.665%.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that all indexes of the model were in the acceptable range.The Cronbach's α coefficient of the total volume table was 0.918，the split half reliability was 0.911，and the retest reliability was 0.894.Conclusions：The Chinese version of CFS has good reliability and validity，and it can be used to evaluate the change fatigue status of nurses in clinical settings.
