Development and reliability and validity test of a home enteral nutrition questionnaire on knowledge⁃attitude⁃practice for patients with pancreaticoduodenectomy

Abstract Objective：To develop a home enteral nutrition questionnaire on knowledge⁃attitude⁃practice for patients with pancreaticoduodenectomy and test its reliability and validity.Methods：On the basis of literature review and qualitative interview，the contents of the questionnaire item pool were determined based on the theoretical framework of knowledge，belief and action model.The initial questionnaire was formed after two rounds of expert letter consultation；Convenience sampling method was used to select 215 patients with pancreaticoduodenectomy as subjects，and the reliability and validity were tested by critical ratio method，Pearson correlation coefficient method，exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis.Results：The final questionnaire consisted of 30 items from three dimensions of knowledge，belief and behavior，with a total Cronbach's α coefficient of 0.909 and a retest reliability of 0.932.Item level I⁃CVI was 0.830⁃1.000，and questionnaire level S⁃CVI was 0.969.The KMO value of the questionnaire was 0.832，and three common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis，and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 77.620%.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the fitting degree of each index was good.Conclusion：The home enteral nutrition questionnaire on knowledge-attitude-practice for patients with pancreaticoduodenectomy questionnaire has good reliability and validity，and can be used as an objective evaluation tool to investigate the knowledge and practice level of home enteral nutrition in patients with pancreaticoduodenectomy.
