Design for Dual-Circulation Liquid Cooling of an Airborne LRM Module Test Equipment

Abstract ∵ This paper presents the structural and thermal design of a liquid cooling test equipment for airborne LRM modules. It elaborates on the design details of the intermal and external liquid cooling circulation systems, which meet the requirements of miniaturizationand high heat dissipation through operational mode switching.In termsof structural design,the paper discussskeyconsiderations for modular design,structural rigidity, waterproof sealing,and surface protection of airborne liquid-cooling equipment, using the LRM module test equipment asanexample.A metal belows expansion tank is designed to fully isolate the liquid from the external environment,accommodating thermal expansion and contraction within a temperature range of -55 to 85∘C ,and ensuring stable operation under vibration and shock conditions with unfixed gravitational orientation. For thermal design,calculations andsimulations are conducted for both internal and external liquid cooling cycles.A dual-fluid (air/liquid) co-simulation method using 6SigmaET is introduced.Experimental measurements confirm the effectivenessofheat dissipation,validating its suitability for production debugging, environmental testing,and reliability testing of airborne LRM modules.The test equipment has been successfully deployed in practical applications,meetingall design requirements.
