Abstract:The sheet explosive loading technology is acrucial method for evaluating thedynamic response of the space structureundertheX-rayradiationinlaboratory.Toachievetheultra-lowspecificimpulseexplosiveloadingrequired forthe structuralassssmentofnew space vehicles,asheet explosivehasbeendeveloped,primarilyomposedofPETNas the main explosive and polymer rubber as the binder.The mass fraction of PETN is 9 0 % 9 2 % ,the thickness range is 0 . 1 5-0 . 2 0 m m ,the density range is , and the explosive velocity range is 7 . 4 4-7 . 7 1 k m / s :Toverify the high-impact initiation sensitivityof thesheet explosive,threeroundsofverificationexperiments weredesignedbasedontheblastmarketingmethod. Inthe experiment,the shet explosive was directly applied to the effect plate ora certain air gap reserved betweenthe sheet explosiveandtheefect plate.Thedetonationof the explosive was confirmedby examining the explosive marks lefton the effect plate post-explosion. The experimental results show that the sheet explosive with a thickness of 0 . 1 5-0 . 5 0 m m can be reliably detonated by a mild detonating fuse with a charge line density of ,and the explosive strips with a thickness of canreliably transmit detonation.The specific impulse characteristics of the sheet explosives with different diameters and thicknesses were measuredand studiedbythe impact pendulum measurement device. Combined with theoretical analysis,the specificimpulsecalculationmodelof thesheet explosive wasused toperformpolynomial ftingonthe specific impulse direct measurement data of the sheet explosives with the thicknesses of 0.20, 0.30, 0.40 and ,respectively.
Thespecific impulse values of shet explosives with four thickness were linearly fitted.Theresults showthatthe specific impulse of the sheet explosive is proportional to the thickness and the ratio coefficient is 3 4 1 8 . 5 6 P a ⋅ s / m m The development of ultra-thin sheet explosive with a thickness of 0 . 2 m m and a specific impulse of about 6 8 0 P a ⋅ s was successfully realized.
