Abstract：Historically，themetaphysical viewof truth—grounded inthepresumed unityof subjectandobject—has been persistently constrained bythe boundaries of the correspondence theory oftruth.In the wake of Hume's skepticismregarding thecertaintyof knowledge，"thetheoryof truthconformity"was graduallyreplaced by"the theoryof truthconstruction"，asexemplifiedbyKant.However，Kant'ssubjectivityishelplessfor "Dingansich"whichmake theepistemologytofallintotheendlessrelativism.EvenHusserl，whoestablishedthelifelongphilosophygoalas"the philosophyofstrictscience，"wascompelled toleaveabackdoor forrelativismthroughthelifeworld，therebynever fully escaping accusations of psychologism. On the contrary，hermeneutics has never shied away from psychologists. FromSchleiermacher's "empathy"andDilthey's"experience，"hermeneuticthinkershave consistentlysoughttouncoverthe"original meaning" fromsubjectivecognition.Itisinthis sensethat Heidegger reveals the meaning through the projectof "Dasein，"and Gadamer cals the meaning derived from Heidegger "effect history".However，Gadamer'sinterpretationof meaning hasbeen criticizedforfaling intothe hermeneutic paradox，forcing Hermeneutics to rebuild thelegitimacyofknowledge fromananti-esentialistanti-logicalistandanti-foundationalist standpoint.Indo一 ing so，it relegated science toanarowcornerof positivism through themedium of language.Inthepost-modern Hermeneutics represented by Rorty，truth has been completely transformed into a system of belief rather than one grounded in logic or empirical validation.
