【Abstract】To reveal the development of batery and vehicle energy eficiency of electric passenger vehicle in China, ananalysisisconductedonthebateryenergydensity,vehicleenergyeficiencyandtheirinfluencingfactorsofelectric passengervehiclessince 2O14.Theresultsdemonstrate thattheaveragebatteryenergydensityreached itsadvanced level in 2019 andremained stable,butseveral performance indicators havedeclined in 2O25.Furtheranalysis indicates that increasingbateryenergyisbeneficialforimprovingthevehicleenergyeficiencyanddrivingrange,butthispositiveffect issubst enuated when the vehicle mass reaches around 2t ,indicating apoint of diminishing return forbattery energy growth.
