Functional Safety Analysis of Air Suspension
【Abstract】 Inorder to enhance thesafetyofvehiclesequipped with air suspensionand topreventinjuries toroad users caused byair suspension failures during operation, afunctional safety analysis of theair suspension systemis conduced.BasedontheISO26262functionalsafetystandard,relevantitemsofthe airsuspensionsystemaredefinedand ahazard analysisandrisk assessmentmethodareusedtoderive thefunctionalsafetyobjectives fortheair suspension. These functional safety objectives are then decomposed step by step to the subsystemand hardware/software levels, establishingacompletesafetyarchitectureCombining thevehiclerolovertheoreticalmodel,theriskofvehiclerolloveris analyzed,along withtheimpactofair suspensionheightadjustmentontherollmomentarmandlateralloadtransferrate.A gradedresponsemechanismisproposed:if the suspensionfailsbutthereis norollverrisk,analarmistriggredand continuousmonitoringismaintained;ifthereisaroloverrisk,theheightadjustmentfunctionisforciblystoppedtoensure the systementers asafestate.Thedesignedstrategyeffectivelybalancesfunctionalsafety withsystem availabilityensuring the functional safety of the air suspension and the overall stability of the vehicle.
