Research on the Viscosity Measurement Method of Isopropanol Solution Based on Lag Phase Angle

Abstract:Most of the viscometers produced on the market employ ofline measurement methods,such as the falling ball method,capillary method,and rotational method,allof which require the liquid to beadded into the instrument.To addressthe isse of measuring the viscosity of isopropanol solution,a viscosity measurement method based onthelag phase angle of isopropanol solution is proposed.Amagnet is attched to theoutput shaft of abrushless motor to drive the rotor torotate inacontainer.The Hallsensorin the signal acquisition circuitdetects the phase angle generated between the rotorand the magnet due to theresistanceof the solution,thereby calculating the viscosityof the isopropanol solution.By setting up an experimental environment and colecting experimental data,theonline real -time measurement of theviscosityof isopropanol solution was achieved,verifyingthe feasibilityof this method.
