Study on Process Parametersof Bamboo Slitting Based on Response Surface Method

Abstract:In order to reduce the surface roughness and power consumption of the open section of Qiongzhu,the effcts of thenumberofbamboo joints,the numberof tooltethand the feed speedon thesurface roughness and power consumption were analyzed in detail by single factor test and Box-Behnken response surface test.The results showed hat the numberof bamboo joints,the numberof tool teeth and the feed speed hadno significant ffcts on thesurface roughnessof the long slot.The power consumption increases with the increase of the number of bamboo joints,and decreases with the increase of feed speed.Both have a significant effecton the power consumption,and theinfluenceof thenumberof tooltethonthepower consumption isnotsignificant.Itissuggested toselect the bamboo with fewer segments and set the feed speed of 30Ocm/minto cutthe elongate slot inorder to reduce the power consumption and obtain better surface quality.
