Social Media Usage,Sustainable Supply Chain Management, and Supply Chain Agility

Abstract:As customers become more environmentallyconscious and market conditions fluctuate,more companies are adopting sustainablesupplychain management asa long-term strategy.Atthe same time,advancements in digital technologyare driving businesses to use social media to accelerate information exchange,to enhance suply chain transparencyandagility.Taking the B2B manufacturing industryasanexample,thisarticle developsarelational model involving social media usage,sustainable supply chain management,supply chain agility,supply chain risk,and stakeholder pressure.Ananalysisofdata from235manufacturing enterprises in Chinareveals thatboth sustainable supply chain management and social media usage significantly enhance supply chain agility.Sustainable supply chain management partially mediates therelationship between social media usage and supplychainagility.Supplychainrisk negativelymoderates therelationship betweensocial mediaand sustainable management,while stakeholder pressure positively moderates this relationship.
