Research on principle and realization method of one-way single-wire power transfer

Abstract:Single-wire power transfer technology addresses the power supply issue in special scenarios,offering a third approach alongside traditional wired and wirelessmethods.However,traditional single-wire power transfer relies on spatial electric fields,often involving high voltage levels that generate large electric field radiation. To tackle these issues,a one-way single-wire power transfer method was proposed, based on altering theradiation pattern of electromagnetic fields to focus or confine themaround the transmision medium,facilitating directional guidance and effcient transmission of electromagnetic fields through the medium. A novel transmisson structure was constructed, with a high-frequency power supply,impedance matching,mode conversion transmitting device,single-wire medium and mode conversion receiving device as its core. To enhance the transmission eficiency,a system simulation model was established,and the parameters of the mode conversion device were optimized and designed accordingly. Finally,with a power supply power of 50W , the system was built for experiments,achieving a transmission distance of 1O meters with a transmission efficiency of 77.28% ,verifying feasibility of the proposed

method and correctness of the simulation study.
