Abstract:The iterature proposes aseries-shunt typesoft normallyoen point (Series-Shunt SNOP,-SNOP),characterized by smallsize,lowost,ndigowerdesityDetoeiherentcaracteristisofteserieshuntopoloteS-OPisableto effectivelyisolateduringgridshort-circuitfaults,leadingtoriskssuchasdmagetothedeviceitselfandmisoperationofnon-faulty feders.Thispaper,asedotetopologyandworkingprincipleofS-O,proposesasetofdistributionnetworkshort-ciuitfault protectionschemesfortheseries-shunt typesoft switchSS-SNOP,whichcanachieveprotectionofthedevice,rapidfaultlocationand isolation,andckrcoveryfofultfedersThsaperelaboratesindetailtefultsortircuitcharacteristicsoftedistribution federsintercoectedwithS-SNOPandthedsignmethodoftheproposedfaultprotectionschee.Thefeasibilityandefectiveesof the proposed scheme are validated through simulation.
