Introduction of FU Wenbin’s Experience in Treating Chronic Frontal Sinusitis-Related Headaches with Integrated Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapy

Abstract：This article introduces ProfesorFU Wenbin's clinicalexperience in treating chronic frontal sinusitisrelatedheadache using an integrated acupuncture and moxibustion therapy known as the "Acupuncture first， moxibustion second，and consolidation third"method.ProfessorFUbelieves thatthe fundamental pathogenesis of this condition liesindeficiency-coldof thespleen and stomach leading to internalturbid phlegmthataffectstheorifices.The persistence of thecondition isprimarilydueto mental unrestand inhibited qimovement.Therefore，Professor FU emphasizes the importanceof regulating the spleenand stomach，along with calming the mindand stabilizing the spirit during the treatment of chronic frontal sinusitis-related headache.Headvocates for theuse of "Acupuncture first， moxibustion second，and consolidation third" method in the integrated acupuncture and moxibustion therapy，which combines acupuncture， precise moxibustion， intradermal needle，and collateral bloodleting techniques.
