Control strategy for power conversion system based on fuzzy PI

Abstract:To address issues of voltage fluctuation,slow dynamic response,and high harmonic distortion during charge-discharge mode switching in power conversion system(PCS),a fuzzy PI-based PCS control strategy is proposed.By combining fuzzy logic with conventional PI control,a composite controler with parameter self tuning is designed to mitigate excessive overshoot and long settling time under sudden load changes.Simulations in MATLAB/Simulink show that compared with traditional PI control,the proposed method reduces DC bus voltage overshoot by over 50% ,shortens power tracking response time,and lowers grid -side current THD from 0.70% to 0.28% . The strategy enhances both dynamic performance and power quality of PCS during mode transitions,ofering a reliable control solution for the stable operation of energy storage systems.
