Analysis of Acupoint Selection Patterns in Acupuncture Treatment for Speech Impairment in Autism Spectrum Disorder Using R Language

Abstract：Objective To conduct data mining on acupuncture prescriptions for speech impairment in autism spectrum disorder（ASD）using R language and analyze the patterns and characteristics of acupoint selection. Methods Computerized searches were performed in the CNKI，Wanfang，VIP，and PubMed.The search period spanned from the inception of each database to December 31，2O24.Frequency analysis，meridian tropiosm analysis，asociation rule analysis，set visualization analysis，and cluster analysis were conductedusing Excel 2019 and R language.Results A total of73 articles were included，from which 129 valid prescriptions were extracted，involving 112 acupoints and acupoint areas.The top five most frequently usedacupoints were Baihui （GV20），Sishencong （EX-HN1），Shenting（GV24），speech area Il ，and Benshen （GB13）. The most frequently used meridians were the governor vessel （GV），Jin's Three Needles，and Jiao’s Scalp Acupuncture.Association rules revealed 32 commonly used acupoint combination groups；set visualization analysis identified 2O highfrequency intersecting acupoint groups； cluster analysis yielded 6 core prescription groups. Conclusion Acupuncture treatment for speech impairment in ASD folows the principles of awakening the brain，boosting intellgence，and facilitating tongue function.Acupoint selection is primarily focusedon the head，with emphasis on points from the governor vesseland Jin's Three Needles to enhance the efect of regulating the governor vessel and calming the mind. The core prescription groups include“speech area Il ，speech area II，speech area I，Benshen，Shenting，andSishencong”
