【Abstract】ObjectiveTo investigate theefects evolocumab combined with atorvastatin on lipid accumulation product (LAP),visceral adiposityindex (VAI) brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV)in patients with hypertension combined with hyperlipidemia.MethodsA total 105 patients with hypertension combined with hyperlipidemia hospitalized inour hospital from June 2O24 to May2025were selected.Inaprospective study design, the patients were divided into a control group(atorvastatin treatment, n=68 ) a treatment group (atorvastatin combined with evolocumab, n=37 )according to treatment regimen.LAP,VAI,baPWV,lipidpriles,blood pressure levels adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before after treatment.Results Follwing a12-week intervention period,both cohorts exhibitednotablereductions in lipidaccumulation product (LAP),visceral adiposityindex(VAI),brachial-anklepulse wavevelocity (baPWV),low-densitylipoproteincholesterol(LDL-C),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride (TG),along with systolicdiastolicbloodpressrevalues, when compared to pre-intervention measurements( P- <0.05).Conversely,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels increased relative to baseline(P0.05) .Conclusion Evolocumab combined with atorvastatin can more effctively improvevisceraladipose tisse dysfunction reducearterial stiffess in patientswith hypertension combined with hyperlipidemia.The mechanism may involve significantlyreducingLDL-Clevels,improving lipid metabolism,alleviating vascularendothelial inflammation.
