In-situPore Regulationof BacterialCeluloseMicrogelforHigh-surfactant-resistant“Island-Chain”Network

Abstract:Inthisstudy,hierarchical-porebacterialcelulosemicrogels(BC-microgel)werepreparedviamethodsincludngCaCO 3 content regulation ( 0~1200mg/L ),particle size screening (0.5~100μm ).Then,AEO/BC-miccrogel/HPMC composite systems were constructed bycombining withhydroxypropylmethylcellose(HPMC)andfatyalcohol-polyoxyethyleneether(AEO).Theresultsshowedthatwhen the CaCO 3 content was 3OO mg/L and the particle size was 15μm ,the microgel structure with an average pore diameter of 3. 17μm could be formed.Atthis point,the“island-chain”network was stable and the yield stressof the composite system reached 0.89Pa ,and the thixotropic loop area increased to O.58 Pa/s. Excessive CaCO 3 or improper particle size'lead to disorder in pore structure and deterioration of performance.Thisstudyelucidatedthetructureactiityelatoshipetweenporesizergulationdnetwrkpefomancethbyproviding a theoretical basis for the functional development of high-concentra-tion surfactant systems.
