【Abstract】ObjectiveTo explore relationship between anthropometric measuresand obesityand sarcopenic obesity. MethodsThe physical examination population of the Health Management Centerof the People's Hospital ofGuangxi Zhuang Autonomous RegionfromJanuarytoJune2O23 werecolected，andtheyweredivided intofour groupsbasedonbodycomposition：sarcopenia type（JS group），healthy type（JK group），sarcopenia obesity type（SO group），and obesitytype（OB group）.Height，weight，waist circumference，and hip circumference were measured，and body mass index（BMI），a body shapeidex（ABSI），waist-to-heightratio，andwaist-to-hipratiowerecalculated.Inadition，differences among groups were analyzed.Results（1）There wasnostatisticallysignificant diference inage between thegroups，with female BMI， waistcircumference，hipcircumference，waist-to-hpratio，andwaist-to-heightratiointheJSgroup

JK group were higher than those inthe OB group（ P<0.05 ），while other metabolic indicatorswere lower than those in the OB group （ P<0.05 ）；the diastolic blood pressure，cholesterol，triglycerides，and LDL-C in the JK group wereallower than those in the SO group （ P<0.05 ）；the cholesterol level in the SO group was'higher than that in the OB group（ P<0.05 ）， and all metabolic indicators excepted LDL-C were lower than those in the OB group（ P<0.05 ）.In men，HbAlc levels inJK group
