Abstract:To address the issue of seismic nodes being unable to monitor data quality due to balancing power consumption and bandwidth in the data transmission process of cableless node seismometer,this study proposed that an improved short term average/long term average (STA/LTA) algorithm was embedded in the STM32F4 to identify vibration data,thereby reducing the storage and transmission of unnecessary data. The node’s power consumption was reduced by integrating software and hardware collaboration techniques.Additionally,seismic motion data was transmitted back using a low-power LORA module for quality monitoring. Experimental results demonstrate that the optimized system reduces data storage power consumption by 53.3% and data transmission power consumption by 67.3% ,achieving low-power data transmission and enabling seismic nodes to effectively monitor data quality.
