Application of enhanced recoveryafter surgery concept in perioperative nursing for thulium laser enucleationof the prostateZggialse'sial

【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the clinical efects of appying the enhanced recovery after surgery （ERAS）concept inthe perioperative periodof patientsundergoing thuliumlaser enucleationof the prostate （ThuLEP）.MethodsAtotalof 60 patients whounderwent ThuLEP fromJanuary2O23 to August 2024 were selected and randomly divided intoa control group ，receiving conventional nursing） and an observation group（ ，receiving ERAS-based interventions） using a randomnumbertablemethod，ensuringcomparabilityinbaselinecharacteristicssuchasage.Rehabilitationindicators（catheter indweling time，timetofrstfatus，timetooralintake，timetoambulation，andlengthofhospitalstay），complicationrates， andinternational prostate symptomscores （IPSS）were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing intervention， theobservation group showed significantlyshortercatheterindweling time，time tofirstfatus，time tooralintake，timeto ambulation，and length of hospital stay compared to the control group （P<0.05） . The complication rate in the observation group （3.33%） was significantly lower than that in the control group （ 23.33% 0 P<0.05 ）.Before intervention， there wasno significant difference in IPSS scores between the two groups （P>0.05） .After intervention， both groups exhibited reduced IPSS scores， with the observation group demonstrating significantly lower scores than the control group （P<0.05） .Conclusion The applicationof theERAS concept intheperioperative periodofTuLEPpatients promotesrecoveryreducescomplicationrates，andiproves prostate-related symptoms，demonstrating significant clinical efficacy.
