Digital Economy Empowers New Quality Agricultural Productivity： Theoretical Analysisand Empirical Test

Abstract： Using inter-provincial data from 3O provinces （cities） from 2Ol2 to 2O22 as a research sample， the impact and mechanism of the digital economy on new quality agricultural productivity were examined.The study found that the digital economy significantly enhanced new quality agricultural productivity.The mechanism test shows that the digital economy promotes the development of new quality agricultural productivity through three potential channels： improving the level of agricultural technological innovation and the quality of rural human capital，and reducing the intensityof agricultural carbon emissions.Heterogeneity tests show that the contribution of the digital economy tonew quality agricultural productivity is stronger in economically developed regions and major food-producing areas.
