Safety and protection technologies for intelligent vehicles with strongly coupled structural, functional and information domains

Abstract:Intelligent-vehiclestructuresare highly integrated withsensors,electronicsystems,in-vehicle networks,communications,and cloud services,and these components interact strongly witheach other.Such integration results in a pronounced fusion between physical structureand vehicle functions.Accordingly,the associated safety technologies have evolved intoastrongly coupled framework thatintegratesstructural safety, functional safety,and information security.This trend may have profound impactson individuals,industries, andeven national strategic interests.Withdata-flow transmissionand interaction takenas the main thread, acomprehensivesafetyarchitecture withstrong couplingacross thestructural,functional,and information domainsissystematicallyreviewed.Majorgapsareidentified,including insuficientadaptabilitytoextreme scenarios,anincompleteunderstandingof cross-domaincoupling mechanisms,and inadequatefullife-cycle safetyassurance.The coupling between structural dynamic responses under multi-source disturbancesand abnormal behaviors in electronic subsystems (perception,control,and connectivity)is further examined.On this basis,astrongly coupled structure-function-informationsafetyand protectionapproach isproposed,and asafetydetectionandevaluation mechanismisestablished byexplicitlyconsideringcross-domain parameter interactions.The proposed mechanism supports multi-source risk linkage analysis,coordinated strategy managementand control,and quantitative safetyassessment.These resultscanserveasa technical reference forthelarge-scaledeployment of inteligent vehiclesand the improvementof related safety standards.
