Effects of spraying different chemicals on frost resistance of apple flowers

Abstract: Using the flowers of Fuji apple in full bloom as experimental materials, the effects of spraying organic calcium, frost-proof agent and brassinolide on the freezing situation and cold-resistance physiological indexes of flowers were studied by artificial simulation of frost conditions. The results showed that spraying organic calcium, frost-proof agent and brassinolide could reduce the freezing rate of flowers, and spraying organic calcium was the most effective. Compared with the control, the relative conductivity of spraying organic calcium at different low temperature duration decreased and the soluble protein content increased. The proline content of spraying frost-proof agent at different low temperature duration decreased. The SOD activity of spraying brassinolide at different low temperature duration increased; The POD activity of spraying organic calcium at different low temperature duration increased. The malondialdehyde content decreased after spraying brassinolide for different duration of low temperature.
