Physical and Mental Well - being and All - round Development： The Root of the Communist Party of China's Physical Educational Theory -"Research on Physical Education” and“ Research on Physical Education in Schools” revisited

Abstract：Research on Physical Education written by Mao Zedong and Research on Physical Education in Schools by Yun Daiying，published successively in April and June of 1917 are two pioneering articles in CPC communists’research of physical education. They have been prized as the two most important articles in the history of the Communist Party of China’s physical educational theory by the later generations. Research on Physical Education and Research on Physical Education in Schools not only reflected and revealed the early stage of physical educational theory of Mao Zedong and Yun Daiying，but is also the main reason behind the thriving development of the Communist Party of China’s physical educational theory， serving modern - day purpose and real value. Young Mao Zedong and Yun Daiying took reality into consideration when carrying out researches，an approach that can influence the modern -day research on the theoretical inquiry of not just physical education，but all the other subjects as well. As for the conceptual achievements of these two articles，they hold great explanatory and instructional value on today’ s practice of physical education， especially in schools. Revisiting the Research on Physical Education and Research on Physical Education in Schools can help us explicate the real concept of physical education， solve the reality issue where students are unable to achieve physical and mental well -being and all- round development from the root of it， succeed in achieving the Healthy China Initiative，as well as develop and perfect the Chinese modernization of physical educational theoretical system.

1917年4月，毛泽东以“二十八画生”的笔名在《新青年》上发表《体育之研究》，同年6月，恽代英在《青年进步》上发表《学校体育之研究》，这两篇文章被誉为中国共产党人早期体育思想史上的双璧，成为研究毛泽东与恽代英早期体育思想的重要文献。（剩余14059字）
