Study on dispersion property and laser particle size measurement of hydrotalcite suspension solution

Abstract：Inordertoobtainahighlystablehydrotaleitesuspensionsolutionandensurethequalityandeficacyofitspharmacutical preparations，anaurateandreliablemethodforparticlesizeaalysisofydrotalcite wasestablishedbyscreeingefectivedispersants andoptimizingtheprocessconditionsUsingsodiumdodecyl sulfate，polyethyleneglycol6ooo，and sodium hexametaphosphateas dispersants，theefectsoftheirtypesandadditionamoutsonthestablityof thesuspensionsolution weresystematiallytestedThe samplesunderwentgravitysedimentationandultrasonictreatment.ThedispersiontabilitywasquantifidwithaZetapotentialanalyzer. Theinfluenceofultrasonic timeonthe measurementresultsoflaserparticlesizeanalyer weresystematicallystudiedtodeterminethe optimaltestingparameters.Theresultsshowthat sodium hexametaphosphatesignificantlydecreases theZeta potentialof the hydrotalcite suspension solution from +8.26mV to - 31.8mV ，indicating a stable aqueous suspension solution. The ultrasonication timehasasignificantefectonlaserparticlesize measurements.Theoptimaltestingconditions aredetermined as follows：hydrotalcite solid content of 1.5×10-2g/mL ， SHMP dosage of 1.0×10-3g/mL ，and ultrasonication time of 21min .This method ofers accurate and stable detection results，consistent with scanning electron microscopy （SEM） characterization results，and can provide standardized reference for particle size analysis of hydrotalcite.
