Abstract:In order to study the impact of temperature and humidity curing environmenton the performance of concrete in highground temperature water conveyance tunnels, thecompresive strength and drying shrinkage of the concreteafter cold shock were investigated. The fects of temperature and humidity couplingonthecompresive strength, shrinkage characteristics, and pore structure of concrete after cold shock damage (CCSD) under two temperatures ( 20°C and 50°C )and three relative humidity(RH) levels (43% , 75% ,and 98% ) were analyzed. The results indicate that the elevated temperature andhumiditycuring environmentcanenhance thecompresive strength ofconcrete aftercold shockdamage and mitigate drying shrinkage. It has been demonstrated that elevated temperatures cancause damage to larger pore structures, expand the pore proportion above 600nm and increase the relative mass loss of the system. However,it has also been shown that such temperaturescan promotehydrationreactions, improvetheearlystrengthofconcreteandreducethesensitivitytorelativemass loss.Based onCEB-FIPMC 2O10 model, thedrying shrinkage prediction modelof CCSD is established, whichcanpredictthe drying shrinkageofCCSDacuratelyand efectively.Theaforementioned researchoutcomes oferatheoretical referenceforthe construction and maintenance of diversion tunnels under high ground temperature.
