Cloisonne is a traditional arts and crafts category unique to Beijing and renowned at home and abroad. From the Liao Dynasty， through the Jin， Yuan， Ming and Qing Dynasties， Beijing served as the capital city of China. Cloisonne， the most important part of royal court art， was hailed as one of the “Eight Wonders of Yenching”. Now it is recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage item.
