Abstract:The switching capacitor step-down topology has theadvantages of high eficiency,no need for inductors,and smallsize.By being connected in series witha Buck converter,it can achievea high step-downratio constant voltage output.The working principleof this cascaded topologyisanalyzed.Under thesame operating frequency,byreusing theswitching tubes,the number ofswitching devices canbe further reduced to forma hybrid step-down topology structure andachieve the miniaturization of the converter. The proposed topology can significantly increase the duty cycleof thestep-down circuit and issuitableforthehigh step-downratioapplication fields.The experimental resultsverify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
