Abstract:When power capacitors are connected to a circuit,a switching inrush current exceeding 2O0 times theratedcurrent willbe generated.Thecapacitorswitching contactor witha current-limiting resistor isoften used to suppress the switching inrush current.In order to optimize the suppression effect,the switching inrush current waveform when the capacitorbank isput intooperation is studied through therandom inrush current suppression experiments,and the primaryand secondaryswitching inrush currentsaredefined.Three current-limiting resistors with different resistance valuesare replaced onthe same capacitor switching contactor,and theinrush current suppression waveforms are obtained byswitching the capacitorbanks with the same capacity.The studyfinds that if theresistancevalueofthecurrent-limiting resistoristoosmall,theprimary inrush current will exceed the application requirements,if theresistance valueof thecurent-limiting resistor is too large,thesecondary inrush current will exceed the application requirements.However,asuitable resistance value of the current-limiting resistor is selected to make the suppression ofthe primaryand secondary inrush currentsachieve theexpected ffect.This providesa reference forthe inspection and selection of capacitor-switching contactors and the determinationof the resistance value of the current-limiting resistor.

电力电容器被大量应用于电力输配电系统的无功补偿和大容量电动机无功补偿等场合,然而电容器组在投入线路时,由电工理论的换路定律可知,电容器组接通瞬间会出现极高的合闸涌流,该电流峰值可高达额定电流有效值的200倍以上。(剩余4803字)
