AbstractData governance is of great significance in promoting the modernization of digital capabilities in China. This paperreviews the basicconcepts of data govermance and the evolution of data related policies in China，introduces the applicationofdata govermance technology inthe field of natural disaster preventionand control，andanalyzes the progress ofdata govermance in the earthquake domain.Finally，based on survey results ofBeijing's earthquake prevention and disaster reduction data resources，this study proposes improvements for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction data governance work in Beijing and provides suggestions for future development.
