民国时期商务印书馆和美国麦克米伦公司的出版合作

[摘 要] 麦克米伦公司在20世纪初期即开始拓展中国市场,并与商务印书馆进行了前后达20年的合作。特别是在1930年代,两家出版社在原版书销售和教科书中国专用版本两个合作领域尤其是后者取得了突破性的进展,这表明当时这两个世界上最大的出版社之间展开了实质性的合作。

The Publishing Cooperation between The Commercial Press and The American Macmillan company during the period of the Republic of China

[Abstract] The Macmillan Company began to expand the Chinese market in the early 20th century, and began 20 years of cooperation with The Commercial Press.And in 1930s,It has made a breakthrough progress in the two cooperation fields of Macmillan’s original book sales and special China edition of its textbooks, especially the latter, which indicates that the two of largest publishing houses in the world have carried out substantive cooperation at that time.
