Abstract:Metabolic reprogramming isconsidered to beoneof the hallmark features ofcancerand plays an important role in the process of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)development. HCC celsadapt to the changes in the tumour microenvironment and energy demand by reprogramming the metabolic pathways of sugars, lipids, amino acids, and othersubstances, therebyenhancing the proliferation, survival and invasion of tumourcelsandaccelerating tumour growth, metastasis, and drug resistance. In recent years,a large number of studies have found that Chinese herbal compounds and active ingredients can exert anticancer efects by interfering with HCC metabolic reprogramming, and positive progress has been achieved. This article systematically summarizes the research progressof Chinese herbal compoundand its activeingredients inexerting antitumour efects throug targeted metabolicreprogramming, witha view to providing theoretical basis for Chinese medicine to interfere in HCC through regulating metabolic reprogramming.
