Investigation and Analysis of Alien Invasive Species in the Ecosystem of Uxin Banner，Inner Mongolia

Abstract： Uxin Banner in Inner Mongolia， located in northern China’s typical arid desert region， features a fragile ecosystem shaped by the unique geographical context of the Mu Us Sandy Land and the arid to semi-arid climate，fostering distinctive biological communities and providing potential pathways for invasive species. This study integrates literature analysis， field surveys，and expert interviews to systematically identify the composition and spectrum of invasive species in Uxin Banner，analyze their invasion mechanisms，and evaluate their ecological impacts. Results reveal 19 invasive plant species belonging to 10 families and 17 genera， predominantly from Asteraceae and Fabaceae，with herbaceous plants accounting for 84.2% . Additionally，six invasive animal species，all belonging to the Insecta class，were identified. Based on these findings，the current status of invasive species control in Uxin Banner was assessed，and corresponding strategies were proposed to provide theoretical and technical support for ecological security management in the region.
