ABSTRACTRenal cell carcinoma（RCC）is the most common primary malignant tumorof the kidney，with clear cell RCC（CCRCC），papillary RCC（PRCC），and chromophobe RCC（CHRCC） being the predominant subtypes.Diferent subtypes of RCC exhibit significantvariations inbiologicalbehaviorand prognosis，makingacuratediagnosisofRCCsubtypes crucial for developing personalizedtreatmentplansandimprovingpatientoutcomes.Utrasoundisthepreferedimagingmethodforclinical screningofRCCduetoitsnon-ivasivenature，eal-timecapability，andrepeatability.Inrecentyars，ontrast-enhanced ultrasound hasenabledthedynamicobservationof tumor microvascularperfusioncharacteristics，allowing theacquisitionof quantitativeparameters toeectivelydiferentiateinvariousRCCsubtypes.Additionalyinclinicalmanagement，ulrasound playsanimportantrole inguiding biopsy，minimallyinvasiveablation therapy，and monitoring postoperativerecurrnceand metastasis.This articlereviews therecentadvances intheapplicationof ultrasound inthediagnosisand clinical management of RCC.
