AbstractcGAS-STING signaling pathway isa key pathway for innate immune response in vivo.Itcan recognize abnormalitiesinexogenousandendogenousdouble-strandedDNA（dsDNA）incytoplasmandpromotethereleaseof immunemediators suchas interferon （IFN）-1，thereby trigering immuneresponse.Recent studies have revealed that dysregulationofcGAS-STING signaling pathway is crucialforocurrence and development of colorectalcancer，promoting tumor growthand metastasis.cGAS-STINGsignaling pathway is alsoinvolved inintestinalimmuneresponseand mayserve as anovel target forcolorectal cancer immunotherapy.Thisarticle reviewed theroleofcGAS-STING signaling pathway in the occurrenceanddevelopmentofcolorectalcancer，highlighted the latestresearch progress，and proposedthefuture research directions of this signaling pathway in the treatment of colorectal cancer.
