Abstract: Toaddressthessues oflowaccuracy,operational diffcultyandsusceptibilityto wear inmanual thread geometric parameter measurement,amultimodal machine visionsystem forprecisionthread measurementis proposed.This systemautomates themeasuremetfgeometricpaametrssuchspitchthadglendmajoameter.Fiagesofteadoke'sn andheadarecapturedusingthemacrocameraandshort-focal-lengthcameraofamultimodal imageacquisitiondevice.Thendualpath measurement methodisdesigned basedonOpenCV geometric image algorithmsandconvolutional neural network to measure thethread'spitch,threadangle,andmajordiameter.Finallanenhancedatentionmechanismdynamicallyfusesthemeasurement resultsfromthetwopaths,achievingabalancebetweenacuracyandstabilityinthefinalresults.Experimentalresultsdeostrate thatthissystem can significantlyimprovetheaccuracy,stability,and eficiencyofthread geometric parameter measurement, possessing substantial practical engineering value and potential for widespread adoption.
