Effects of College Students' Perceived Social Support and Perceived Stress on Meaning of Life

Abstract:To explore the effects of collge students perceived stress and perceived social support on meaning in life,a 2(high vs.low perceived stress) ×2 (high vs. low perceived social support) betweensubjectdesign wasused in this study.The Perceived Stress Scale,the Multidimensional Scaleof Perceived Social Supportand the Chinese Meaningin Life Questionnaire were distributed to college students online, and 677 valid questionnaires were colected.Variance analysis was conducted on the data and results showed that there was a significant main effect of perceived stress, F (1,673) ≡ 62.48,P
