Preparation and Properties of LLM-1o5 Based Bonded Explosives for High Temperature Resistant Perforating Charge

[ABSTRACT]Inorder to improve the recoveryrateof ultra-high temperatureoiland gas welsand enhance the perforationperformance of perforating charges,a preparation method of high-temperatureresistantpolymer bonded explosive (PBX)for perforating charges was proposed. Firstly,two crystal forms of 2,6 -diamino-3,5-dinitropyrazine-1-oxide(LLM105)were prepared using recrystalization technology:long rod-shaped and block shaped.Secondly,the formula for LLM105 based PBX was determined through theoretical calculations.Next,LLM-105 based PBX was prepared using the water suspension methodandits thermalstability was tested.Finaly,the explosive performance of the prepared PBX was tested using ground static armor penetration test.The results show thatthe loose packing densityofLLM-1O5 basedPBX reaches above 0.80g/cm3 ,and the packing density reaches 1.75g/cm3 . Compared with S992 explosive based on HNS and Y971 explosive based on PYX,the prepared LLM-1O5 based PBX charge has a penetration depth increase of over 16% and excellent perforation performance.
