The Three Kingdoms period （220-280） was a special era in Chinese history.When thecentralized rule of Han Dynasty gradually crumbled， strong powers rose together， feudal lordsruled theirown territories， and the empire was plunged into turmoil. Later，the three kingdoms of Cao Wei，Shu Han， and Eastern Wu formed a tripartite diversion of the realm.
