【Abstract】Hypertension,as the leading modifiable risk factor forcardiovascular disease morbidityand mortality, requiresaccuratebloodpressure measurementasacornerstoneofitsmanagement.Conventionalblood pressuremonitoring is limitedbyitsintermitentandstaticnature,andinabitytocapturereadingsduringdailyactivities.Emergingbloodpressure measurementtechnologiesarerapidlybeing integratedintoclinicalpractice;however,theiradoptionishinderedbythelackof internationalconsensusregardingvalidationcriteriaforaccuracy,usability,acceptability,andreliability.Inresponse,this articleconvenesexpertinterpretationofthelatestInternationalSocietyofHypertensionPositionPaperonInnovationsinBlood Pressure MeasurementandReporting Technology,aimingto informevidence-basedrecommendationsforcommunity-based hypertension prevention and control strategies in China.
