【Abstract】 ObjectiveTo assess the clinical characteristics and drug sensitivity of Klebsiella pneumoniae infections in the Third People's Hospital of Anyang City between June 2O22 to June 2O25.MethodsA total of 1 581 strains of Klebsiell pneumoniae were obtained from Anyang Cardiovascular Disease Hospital （the Third People's Hospital of Anyang City） between June 2O22 to June2O25 were selected and analysed for the isolation of Klebsiella pneumoniae，the distribution of specimen types，the distribution of departments and drug resistance in previous years.ResultsA total of1，581 cases of Klebsiella pneumoniae were identified from June 2022 to June 2025.The detection rates of Klebsiella pneumoniae were thus 19.71% （529/2 684）， 22.43% （522/2 327），and 23.93%（530/2 215） in each year.The distribution of Klebsiella pneumoniae was observed across17 departments， predominantly within the intensive care unit （ICU）[26.12% （413/1581）]. Sputum [6.54% （1 O52/1 581）] was the most common specimen type.The majority of Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates were resistant to ceftazidime （49.76% ，417/838），ticarcillin/clavulanic acid （42.59%，342/803），and ampicilin/sulbactam （38.96%，157/403）.

ConclusionThe high resistancerate of Klebsiellpneumoniae necesitates arationalapproach todrug utilisation by keydepartments，informed by comprehensivebacterial resistance monitoringand drugsensitivity testing.This approach iscrucial formitigating theantimicrobialresistancerateand the emergenceofmulti-drug resistantbacteria.
