Specie and Distribution Characteristic of Alien Invasive Asteraceae Plants in Ningxia

Abstract：Inorder toclarifythecurrent situationof alien invasive Asteraceae plants inNingxia and provideabasis for prevention andcontrol of local alien invasiveplants，biodiversityprotectionand ecological securitymanagement，a 2022-2023 field survey，along with literatureand database research，was conducted.Thisstudy found 25alien invasive species across 2O genera，comprising 4 life forms-mostly annual herbs（ 48% ）. Five species were malignantly invasive，fourseriously，onelocally，sixgenerall，andnineunderobservation.MostoriginatedfromNorthAmerica （ 56% ），followed byEurope，with Africa the least（ 16% and 8% ，respectively）.Intentional introductions accounted for 60% （15 species），and unintentional 40% （10 species）．Species were more prevalent in southern Ningxia.In conclusion，intentionalintroductionsarea majorconcern，withharm increasing.Monitoringandcontrol eforts should focus on southern Ningxia and North American species.
